To survive in a complicated country ....
… the shouts, the sin, surrender,
the pods, some snot, the wrong gender.
The tears, the fears, the cheers,
the crying, the horror, the beers.
Must love, obey, some slack,
your face, I prey, come back.
Infinite, slow, merry-go-rounds,
mountains, seas, sights and sounds.
The faces, shadows, blaming looks,
my back, fragile, never written books.
Stories, fragments, shelves and thunder,
thoughts, provoking, punished, no wonder …
… it takes the breath of life.
